아이가 잘하는 점을 먼저 찾아서 칭찬해 주고, 아이들의 이야기를 잘 들여다보고 아이가 무슨 생각을 하는지 어떤 것을 원하는지 아이에 대해 올바르게 이해하며 따뜻한 마음으로 안아주는 교사가 되고 싶습니다.
우리 아이들이 한국어 교육, 한국 문화, 역사를 통해 한국을 알고 모국어를 배우고 한국인의 뿌리를 찾아 정체성을 확고히 하여 해외 어디에서든 자긍심을 가지고 살며 두나라 말과 문화를 아는 미래의 주역으로 성장하길 바라는 마음은 모든 부모님들의 마음일 것이라 생각합니다.
아이와 교사와 학부모가 함께 행복해지는 한글학교가 되길 바라며, 사랑으로 아이들을 대하는 부모의 마음으로, 아이들의 가슴속에 꿈의 씨앗이 자라나는 모습에 즐거워해 주는 교사의 마음으로 아이들과 함께 재미있고 즐겁게 배우고 공부하며 한국을 느끼고 싶습니다.
Introduction: Hello, I am Jisun Lee, a teacher who is going to be in charge of the first grade class of Korean school.
Let me briefly introduce myself. I have lived here in Eindhoven for 8 years. I’m married and I have 2 kids. I majored in art at Kyunghee Univ. in Korea and studied Eng. at City Univ. of NY and French in Nice. Recently I have completed the regular 1, 2 and special training courses in the Korean school teacher certification course provided by the Overseas Koreans Foundation.
My teaching experience with many good memories in the past in Korea made me decide to be a teacher again here at Korean school.
As a teacher I want to help my students bring out their best and encourage them with lots of praises. I’ll try my best to be understanding and caring. I think it’s important for them to learn their native language, culture and history. And through them, strengthen their identities & roots and feel proud to be Koreans. I’m sure it’ll also play a great part in narrowing the generation gap with their parents. I hope they grow into future leaders of multicultural society. I really look forward to studying with my students and having a great time together.

교사 소개: 더치 남편을 만나 2014년부터 아인트호벤에 살고 있는, 아이들을 너무나 좋아하는 전직 어린이 영어강사 박수현입니다. 2004년부터 반포, 청담, 압구정 소재의 여러 YBM 영어유치원에서 영어를 가르치기 시작했고, 다양한 교육 세미나와 꾸준한 강사 교육과정을 이수하며 10년간 늘 아이들과 함께하며 강사 및 관리자로 경력을 쌓았습니다.
수많은 유치부, 초등부 아이들과 학부모님들, 또 다양한 원어민 영어강사들과 오랜 생활을 하면서 연령별 언어를 배우는 차이와 교육 방법, 또 소통의 중요성을 배웠습니다.
한글과 영어 각 언어의 다른 매력, 그 속에 베여있는 문화를 잘 알고, 2년간 어학원에서 기초 네덜란드어를 배우면서 한글이 네덜란드어, 영어와는 비교할 수없이 훌륭하고 섬세한 언어임을 다시 한번 깨달았습니다.
네덜란드어와 영어를 많이 사용하는 우리 아이들이 한글학교 국어 수업을 통해 생활에 꼭 필요한 국어 뿐만이 아니라 자기의 생각을 자신 있게 말하고 쓸 수 있도록 함께 배우며 성장해 나가겠습니다.
I am a former ELS teacher who loves children and I have been living in Eindhoven with my Dutch husband since 2014. I had started teaching English for children at YBM English Language Schools since 2004 in the Gang-nam area of Seoul. As a teacher and a supervisor, I had fulfilled various teacher trainings and educational seminars for children during my 10-year career.
I have experience in teaching children from kindergarten to middle school. I am skilled in communication that helps in managing many students, their parents, and native English teachers.
Being a language teacher allowed me to enjoy the different linguistic charms of Korean versus English and the ingrained cultures in each language. Even after learning basic Dutch for 2 years, I realized even more how unique and scientific the Korean language (Hangeul) is.
Working at Eindhoven Korean School as a native teacher is such an honor and a challenge. I hope that our EKS students can continue to learn the Korean language and culture with lots of fun and interests as they live in this linguistically and ethnically diverse country of The Netherlands.

교사 소개 : 네덜란드어를 잘 하는 우리의 아이들. 하지만 우리의 아이들은 한국인입니다. “너의 나라는 어떤 나라야?” 우리 아이들이 자라 어느 곳에 살든 내 나라에 대해 묻거든 자랑스럽게, 자신 있게 답할 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 우리말을 할 줄 아는 것을 넘어 내 나랏말, 한글이 얼마나 우수하고 내 나라가 얼마나 깊은 역사와 전통을 자랑하는 나라인지, 내가 어떤 문화적 배경에서 자라 왔는지를 막힘없이 알릴 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 이 꿈을 가지고 한글학교 교사로 지원했습니다. 제가 우리의 아이들과 나눌 것이 있다는 것이 기쁘네요.
저는 사범대학을 졸업하고 중 · 고등학생을 가르칠 수 있는 교원 자격증을 가지고 있습니다. 중학교에서 1년간 담임교사로 일했고, 그 이후에는 독립기념관에서 역사교육프로그램을 만들어 어린이부터 성인까지, 내국인부터 재외동포 및 외국인을 교육하는 에듀케이터로 일했습니다. 저도 우리 아이들과 같이 배우며 같이 자라기를 꿈꾸며 온몸으로 한글을 그리고 한국을 경험해 보려고 합니다.
The children from Korea who live in Nederlands, can speak Dutch very well… But they are Korean. “What does your country look like? I hope that they could introduce our country to their friends or aquaintances from other countries with full of pride, anyhow where they’ve been grown up or where they live now. In addition, I wish they could not only speak Korean well but also let them know how fine and superior our own language, Hangul is and how long and great history and tradition we have without any hesitation. And that in what kind of cultural background they’ve been grown up. I applied for the teacher of Korean school with this vision. I’m really pleased to have something to share with them.
I studied at college of Education in university and I got the regular secondary teacher licenses. I have experience to teach secondary school students as a homeroom teacher for one year. After that I’ve worked as an educator who makes history education programs and afterwards gives lessons to a variety of age groups in Independence Hall of Korea. I’m willing to learn and grow together with these children and to dive into Hangul and Korea!

대부분의 학생들이 초등학교 저학년때부터 읽기, 쓰기 및 수학 기초적인 학습을 하고, 고학년이 되면 기초학습을 바탕으로 다양한 영역의 지식들을 배우고 사고하게 된다고 합니다.
저는 아이들과 함께 매주 한가지 주제를 가지고 능동적이며 창의적으로 사고하는 능력을 함께 배워보고자 합니다. 특히, 한가지 주제로 사회 과학 분야까지 종합적으로 사고 하며 생각의 고리를 이어가며 궁금증을 풀 수 있도록 할것입니다. 이와 함께 다양한 활동들을 통해서 실생활에서 응용해 본다면, 더욱 즐거운 수업을 할수 있으리라 믿습니다. 아이들은 수업을 통해 자연스럽게 한국어의 어휘력 및 자신의 생각을 논리적으로 말할수 있는 배경 지식들과 사고력이 자연스럽게 증진될것이고, 이는 아이들 안에 한국인으로서의 정체성과 자존감을 형성하는데 큰 역할을 할 것입니다.

It is said that most students learn fundamental skills in reading, writing and mathematics when they are in the lower grades of elementary school. Upper elementary students are able to learn and think various subjects by using an established foundation for learning.
I want to stimulate and enhance creative thinking skills with a more subject oriented curriculum. Especially, I will encourage them to solve their curiosity by using the integral thinking ability and the connected thinking ability within one topic. Along with this, I will provide activities involved with each topic. This will make our class more fun. Through this class, students will naturally build Korean vocabulary, background knowledge and thinking ability in order to logically speak their thoughts. These things will play a big role in forming Korean identity and self-esteem.
